Getting started
Open Still and tap Play. On the Sounds tab, tap a sound's name to hear it alone, or tap + to blend it into your current mix. Open the player to adjust each layer's level and the master volume.
Saving a mix
In the player, tap Save and give your mix a name. Saved mixes live on the Saved tab. Saving again while a saved mix is loaded updates it in place.
Sleep timer
Choose All night, a preset from 15 to 90 minutes, or a custom duration, and pick a 10, 30 or 60 second fade. The countdown starts when you set the timer and includes any time the sound is paused.
Playback in the background
Still keeps playing when the screen locks. Use the Lock Screen or Control Center to pause and resume. Playback pauses automatically when headphones or a Bluetooth speaker disconnect, and after a phone call ends you can resume from the Lock Screen.
Listening safely
Keep the volume at a comfortable, moderate level, especially with headphones or earbuds, and especially for long overnight sessions. If you use Still near an infant or child, keep the device across the room (at least 7 feet / 2 meters away) and at a low volume, and never place a speaker in or next to a crib. If a sound feels too loud, turn it down or take a break.
Still is a relaxation and background-sound app. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. If you have ongoing sleep problems, tinnitus, or hearing concerns, talk to a qualified professional.
About the sounds
Every sound in Still is generated on your device. The rain, ocean, wind, fire and fan sounds are synthesized textures, not field recordings, which is why the app needs no downloads and works anywhere.
Still Plus and purchases
Still Plus unlocks every bedtime story, unlimited saved mixes, and new sounds as they arrive. It is available yearly (with a free trial for new subscribers), monthly, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are handled by Apple. To restore Plus on a new device, open the player, tap Read me to sleep, then Unlock all and Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. For refunds, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your data
Saved mixes and settings are stored on your device only. Deleting the app deletes them. There is no cloud sync.
