Privacy policy
Effective October 12, 2026
This policy explains what the ASE Test Prep by MotiveU app ("MotiveU", "we") collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the iPhone and Android apps.
What we collect

| Diagnostic write-ups you choose to submit. | Sent to an AI service provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) to grade them. They are not used to identify you. |

Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information and we do not show ads in the app. We share data only with providers that run parts of the service for us:
- Supabase, which hosts our database and sign-in.
- Apple and Google, which process payments and confirm purchases.
- Meta Platforms, which receives app events (install, open, registration, purchase) and the advertising identifier where allowed, to measure our advertising.
- Expo, which delivers push notifications.
- OpenAI or Anthropic, which grade write-ups you submit.
- Your shop manager, if you join a shop, can see your test results and assignments.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Your choices
- On iPhone you can decline tracking when asked, or later in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Settings > Google > Ads.
- You can turn notifications off in your device settings.
- You can delete your account and data at any time. See Delete your account.
Security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit. We keep your account data while your account exists and delete it when you delete your account.
Children
MotiveU is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
