Privacy policy

CDL Ready is made by Santos & Halp Inc. This page explains what the app does and doesn't do with information. The short version: there are no accounts, we don't know who you are, and your study data lives on your phone.
What stays on your phone
Your study plan (state, endorsements, test date), your answers and scores, your streak, your reminder settings, your theme choice, and a record of what you have purchased. All of it is stored on the device only. Deleting the app deletes it. Progress → Reset all data erases it in place.
What leaves your phone

Advertising
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. We request non-personalized ads only, so the app never asks for tracking permission and does not use the advertising identifier for profiling. Google still receives your IP address and device information to serve the ad, cap how often you see it, and detect fraud. Google's practices are described in the Google Ads privacy policy. Buying Remove Ads or any Pro option turns advertising off entirely.
Purchases
All payments are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your card, billing address, or Apple ID. Subscriptions renew and cancel through your Apple account settings.
Notifications
Study reminders are scheduled on your phone. There is no push server; nothing is sent to us when a reminder fires or when you tap one.
Analytics and tracking
The app contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporter that identifies you, and no social login. We do not sell or share data with anyone for marketing.
Children
You must be at least 18 to hold a CDL, and the app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Deleting your data
On the device: Progress → Reset all data, or delete the app. On our server the only record is keyed by the random device identifier described above. If you would like that deleted, email us from the app's Support page with the approximate date you installed it and we will remove it.
Changes
